European Schools Science Symposium

Hi there!

Please notice that some contents of this blog falls outside the scope of the RPy-Rover entry submitted to the ESSS 2016 competition.

If you don’t know what the ESSS is, we encourage you to find out by clicking on the link provided.

The scope of the project entry in ESSS 2016 is the rover’s navigation system, comprised of the chassis with motor controllers, the camera, distance ranger and GPS. This subsystem was designed, developed and implemented independently by Gil and André Tavares, with minimal support from others. This blog includes extensive contents on the overall project, which does not relate to the ESSS competition entry and was not executed within the guidelines of the competition. We hope the overall narrative doesn’t send the wrong message, and invite you to experience the following posts, which are applicable to the ESSS entry:

Feel free to contact us and/or leave comments on the posts, as feedback is greatly appreciated!

We hope you enjoy the project as much as we enjoyed doing it.
